On April 24&25, 2021, Renmin University of China hosted the second CIPnet Roundtable on the theme of “IP Protection of Integrated Circuits in China”, inviting scholars from leading Chinese universities, enterprises from IP service platforms and public officials from official institutions to discuss the development, pain point and strategy of the IP protection of integrated circuits (IC) in China.

On October 19, 2019, the first Roundtable of CIPnet named "Technology Transfer at Higher Education Institutions in China" was held at Renmin University of China in Beijing. The Roundtable invited scholars, enterprise personnel and judges from China's most well-known universities, intellectual property public service platforms and courts to conduct in-depth discussions on the topic of technology transfer in colleges and universities
On the evening of April 12, 2019, the lecture “Data Ownership and Competition Law” was successfully held at the Mingde building, Law School, Renmin University of China.
2019.04.17On the 26th of March 2019, a book launch and conference was convened to present the research outcome at Renmin Law School. They were run jointly by Renmin Law School and LMU Munich Faculty of Law, and co-organized by Law and Technology Institute of Renmin University. The participants included leading scholars in the field from several schools and institutes, such as Renmin University of China, LMU Munich, Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University and China University of Political Science and Law, as well as representatives from the regulators and internet companies. These distinguished guests all together witnessed the launch of the research outcome and participated in discussions on a wide range of related topics with particular emphasis on the following questions: propertization of personal data under the Internet sharing economy, regulation on non-professional taxis, Internet content regulation, liability of Internet intermediaries, criminal liability of network service providers, protection of personal data and the right to privacy, and regulation on cyber security.
2019.04.02On November 25,2018, the first "Digital Economy and Future Rule of Law" SummitForum, hosted by Renmin University of China and Jingdong Group, and undertakenby the Future Law Research Institute of Renmin University of China and theJingdong Law Institute, was successfully held in Beijing.
2018.11.25From April 18 to 20, 2018, the First Meeting of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee(hereinafter referred to as SC 42) hosted by Standardization Administration of China and coordinated by China Electronics Standardization Institute, was hold successfully in Beijing.

2018.04.05On January 8th, 2018, upon the invitation of the RUC Law and Technology Institute (also known as the Future Rule of Law Institute), Professor Li Kang, lifetime professor of computer science department in University of Georgia, headmaster of school of safety and privacy, attended the frontier forum held by RUC institution of future rule of law, and gave a lecture which topic was “the protection of privacy in intelligent era and the security responsibility of manufacturers”. Other professors present were associate professor Ding Xiaodong, Associate professor Wang Ying, Associate professor Deng Jinting, Mr. Xu Ke, Manager of legal research center in Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology Li Haiying, associate researcher of legal research institution in Chinese Academy of Social Science Zhou Hui, associate researcher in legal research institution of China Law Society Liu Jinrui, and many other law students and practitioners. This frontier forum is held by associate professor Zhang Jiyu.

2017.10.27On October 13, 2017, invited by RUC Law and Technology Institute (RLTI, also known as the Future Rule of Law Institute), Zheng Ge, the professor of Koguan school of law in Shang Hai Jiaotong University, gave a speech whose topic was Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Law on the frontier forum.
