The theme of the salon was Justice with Big Data and the Modernization of the Rule of Law in China. The speaker of this salon was Professor Liu Pinxin and the host was Professor Li Xuejun. Professor Tang Weijian, Professor Lixuejun, Professor Mo Yuchuan, Professor Yaohui, Professor Du Huanfang, Professor Zhang Xiang, Professor Zhou Ke, Professor Liu Jihua, Professor Li Fenfei, Associate Professor Jiangdong, Associate Professor Ding Xiaodong, Associate Professor Wang Ying, Associate Professor Zhang Jiyu, Assistant Professor Liu Xiaodan, Assistant Professor Zhang Wenliang, deputy secretary of party committee of Renmin Law School and other professors as well as students of law school participated in the salon.
At the beginning of the salon, Professor Li Xuejun welcomed the professors and students participating in the salon and introduced the theme and background of the speech of Professor Liu Pinxin. Then, Professor Liu Pinxin explained the reason for promoting the development of justice with big data and analyzed the practice of the legal and administrative organs, the influence of justice with big data and the transformation of rule of law in his speech.
After the speech, Professor Li Xuejun summarized the speech. Professor Zhou Ke gave positive comments on Professor Liu Pinxin’s research on big data. Finally, Professor Liu Pinxin answered some questions about big data and justice with big data.
