time:2025-11-06On October 25-26, 2025, the symposium on "Challenges and Responses of Artificial Intelligence to Higher Education," hosted by the Renmin University of China AI Governance Institute, was successfully held. Nearly 20 experts and scholars from over ten universities, research institutions, and enterprises—including Renmin University of China, Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China Normal University, the National Institute of Education Sciences, and the Higher Education Cooperation Department of Baidu—representing diverse fields such as law, psychology, computer science, information resource management, education, and philosophy, participated in the event. Together with the faculty and students present, they engaged in in-depth discussions on the transformation pathways of higher education in the era of artificial intelligence. This event was co-organized by the Renmin University of China School of Interdisciplinary Studies, the Renmin University of China School of Education, the Renmin University of China School of Information Resource Management, and the Renmin University of China Law and Technology Institute, aiming to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and contribute to the exploration of high-quality development in higher education.
