On the afternoon of November 19, 2021, the First China Internet Civilization Conference - Forum on Internet Rule of Law, co-organized by the Law School of Renmin University of China, was held at the National Convention Center in Beijing. This forum was one of the seven sub-forums of the China Internet Civilization Conference and had the theme of "Network Rule of Law Civilization and Personal Information Protection." Its purpose was to implement and promote the important ideas of General Secretary Xi Jinping regarding building a strong cyber nation, promote the concept of internet rule of law, actively introduce the achievements in internet rule of law, foster consensus on internet rule of law from various parties, and work together to construct a civilized cyber legal framework.
