Lecture Review | Simon Chesterman: The Tragedy of Artificial Intelligence Governance
time:2024-04-27On the morning of April 18, 2024, Professor Simon Chesterman from the Faculty of Law at the National University of Singapore was invited by the Renmin Law and Technology Institute and the Digital Law Teaching and Research Center of the Law School at Renmin University of China. He attended the 'Global Honorary Chair Series Lectures' of the Renmin University of China Institute for Future Rule of Law and the 'Digital Law Lecture Series' of the Digital Law Teaching and Research Center of the Law School. He delivered a wonderful keynote speech on the theme of 'The Tragedy of Artificial Intelligence Governance.' In his speech, Professor Chesterman started with the current state of artificial intelligence governance, discussed the autonomy issues, black box problems, and speed issues brought by artificial intelligence governance, and conducted an in-depth analysis of the international cooperation dilemmas in artificial intelligence governance.
