演讲大纲：

Contracts are widely concluded on the basis of machine-to-machine-communication. More often, nowadays, one party (or both parties) use(s) technical means based on Artificial Intelligence to contract (so called autonomous agents). The usage of autonomous agents raises various doctrinal questions of (European and German) contract law. The current contract law debate (in Europe) is linked to fundamental questions of (probably) any legal system, especially re the requirement of a declaration of intent for a binding contract and regrating legal personality to autonomous systems. On this basis, different approaches to a coherent regulation of autonomous agents are considered.
