Lecture Review | Zhang Linghan: What Kind of "Artificial Intelligence Law" Does China Need? — The Basic Logic and Institutional Framework of China's AI Legislation
time:2024-06-25On the afternoon of June 7, 2024, the Digital Law Lecture Series, co-hosted by the Renmin Law and Technology Institute, the Center for Digital Legal Studies at the Law School, the Interdisciplinary Platform for Technological Revolution and Future Rule of Law, and the International Digital Law Association, was held both online and offline in Conference Room 725 of the Mingde Law Building at Renmin University of China. The lecture featured a keynote address by Zhang Linghan, a professor at the School of Data Law at China University of Political Science and Law and a Chinese expert on the UN High-Level Advisory Body on AI. The lecture was moderated by Zhang Jiyu, an associate professor at the School of Law at Renmin University of China and the executive director of the Renmin Law and Technology Institute. Additionally, Su Yu, a professor at the School of Law at the People's Public Security University of China and the director of the Institute of Data Law, provided commentary.
