On April 24, 2026, the Law School and the Law and Technology Institute of Renmin University of China successfully held an academic lecture titled “AI-Empowered Innovation: Current Developments and Implications for Patent Law and Policy.” The lecture featured Dr. Daria Kim, Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, as the keynote speaker. It was moderated by Professor Zhang Jiyu of Renmin University of China Law School, with Associate Professor Wang Runhua of the Intellectual Property Research Center at the University of Science and Technology Beijing and Assistant Research Fellow Liu Ziwei of Beihang University Law School serving as discussants.
