On the afternoon of July 1, 2024, the Digital Law Lecture Series, jointly hosted by the Renmin Law and Technology Institute, the Intellectual Property School, the Digital Law Teaching and Research Center of the Law School, the Interdisciplinary Platform for Technological Revolution and Future Rule of Law, and the International Digital Law Association, was held in Conference Room 602 of the Mingde Law Building at Renmin University of China. The lecture invited Associate Professor Danny Friedmann of Peking University School of Transnational Law (Shenzhen) and Assistant Professor Célia Matias of the Faculty of Law at the University of Macau to deliver keynote presentations. The lecture was moderated by Zhang Jiyu, Associate Professor at the Law School of Renmin University of China and Executive Dean of the Renmin Law and Technology Institute. Judge Watcharapon Suntrasantik of the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court of Thailand, Tenured Associate Professor Jiang Ge of Tsinghua University Law School, and Liu Xiaochun, Director of the Internet Rule of Law Research Center at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, joined the discussion.
