On May 6, 2026, the "Frontiers of Future Rule of Law and Digital Law Lecture Series", co-hosted by the Law and Technology Institute, the Research Center of Civil and Commercial Jurisprudence, the School of Foreign-Related Rule of Law, and the Centre for Common Law of Renmin University of China, was successfully held at Mingde Law Building. Professor Rainer Kulms, Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, was invited to give a lecture entitled "Contract Governance Innovated — Outsourcing with Artificial Intelligence" Professor Zhang Jiyu, Assistant Professor Bao Dingruirui, and Lecturer Chen Zheli of Renmin University of China Law School served as discussants. Associate Professor Wu Zhicheng moderated the event, with faculty and students from within and outside the university participating in the discussion.
