time:2025-08-09On July 22, 2025, at the invitation of the Law School, the Law and Technology Institute, and the Institute of International and Comparative Law of Renmin University of China, Graham Webster, Research Scholar at Stanford University's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, and Samm Sacks, Senior Fellow at Yale University's Paul Tsai China Center, attended the "Global Honorary Lecture Series" hosted by the Renmin Law and Technology Institute and the "Digital Law Lecture Series" hosted by the Digital Law Teaching and Research Center of Renmin University of China Law School. They delivered an engaging thematic lecture on "China-U.S. AI and Data Governance." During the event, the two researchers discussed recent legislative and regulatory developments in the fields of artificial intelligence and data privacy in the United States.
