On September 26, 2024, the mid-term review meeting of "Research on Legislative System Construction for Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence", a New Generation Artificial IntelligenceI National Science and Technology Major Project led by Professor Wang Yi, Vice President of Renmin University of China, and undertaken by Renmin University of China, was successfully held at the Law School of Renmin University of China.

The attending experts discussed and formed mid-term review opinions, concluding that the project's mid-term progress met the expected goals and successfully passed the mid-term review.

At the end of the meeting, the project leader, Professor Wang Yi, Vice President of Renmin University of China, expressed gratitude to the attending leaders and experts. On behalf of the project team, he assured that they would refine the project outcomes based on the experts' suggestions to ensure the depth and breadth of the research results, providing solid theoretical support for China's AI legislation work.
